The Traveller 2D Game - Pre alpha

The Traveller project follows the story of a teen named Rethabile "Retro" Robong who uses gaming as a means to find balance while facing the challenges of his everyday life. The project is split into two: a webcomic and a game.

The Traveller comic follow Retro's day-to-day life as a 17 year old high school student in his final year of high school as he deals with all the drama that comes with being a high schooler.

The Traveller 2D game is an action platformer where you play as  Retro's avatar named Fro-9 as he explores the sixteen diverse and realized worlds, fight various enemies and formidable bosses on your quest to become the number one ranked player in The Traveller - the game Retro is currently playing.  

The Traveller features monochromatic comic-like art with comic-style panels and onomatopoeic effects used during both combat and exploration making players feel like they are playing through a graphic novel. 

Use the intuitive “Switch” ability to change your character’s skills and playstyle, switching between fast-paced sword combat, magic, tank forms. Join in on this epic tale, overcome all odds and become number one!
